It’s Mintage Monday time!
This week I’m showing off my replacement coins for one of my all-time favorite games, Troyes!
Whenever I’m looking for a nice thematic match for boardgaming’s ubiquitous “historical European” setting, my go-to first choice is always Artana Games. Their coin sets aren’t just designed after historical themes, but every set comes with 5 size/finish options from “Tiny” (smaller than a dime) to “Jumbo” (larger than a silver dollar).
Since Artana doesn’t have a “French”-specific theme, these coins come from their “Middle Ages” set, specifically the medium, large, and jumbo sizes. They’re such a great match for Troyes.
