I started, about 7 or 8 months ago, making foamcore inserts for games. That craft has morphed into making custom boxes altogether. My latest project is this custom box for Targi.
Originally, I wanted to just make a tuck-box for the game pieces. Then I decided I wanted something smaller than the retail box, that would fit sleeved cards, and would also fit that tuck-box. I think it turned out pretty well!
NOTE: I’ve gotten a lot of requests on past posts to do a tutorial for boxes like this. My next project is a custom box for a new copy of Fluxx. My wife will be taking a bunch of pictures for that project, and I’ll turn it into a tutorial and post it when it’s done.
