Mintage Monday is back!
Clans Of Caledonia surprised me in a lot of ways. What I thought would be just another point-salad economic Euro turned out to be one of my favorite economic games in a very long time.
On top of producing a fantastic game, Karma Games augmented it with some great metal coins!
The bespoke coins for Clans perfectly replicate their punchboard counterparts, making them a no-brainer addition to the game they’re made for. But more than that, they’re also generic-historical-Europe enough to be a great boost to just about any historical Eurogame!
At about $28 for 70 coins they’re slightly on the expensive side, but if you’re buying them as a single generic set for use with multiple games, the price is just about right.
