After a semi-unintentional hiatus, Mintage Monday is BACK!
Shortly after learning about the worker placement mechanism back in 2014, I went on a hunt for other exemplars of the form. I found the last copies of Viticulture 2nd Edition and Tuscany at my FLGS, and my wife and I were instantly hooked.
Viticulture was the 2nd game we ever bought metal coins for, and they’ve never disappointed. They’re a great size (the ₤5 coins are HUGE!), they sound awesome, and they have a fantastic finish.
And Stonemaier Games keeps them in stock, so they’re a fantastic option not only for Viticulture, but also Vinhos or any other game you want some reasonably-priced metal coins for!
Still some of my favorites, to this day.
